    Two people have been arrested over a shooting at Rolleston over the weekend


    A man was shot at a property on Maddisons Road mid-morning on Saturday, before police say he drove himself to a property in Hornby.

    He's now in a stable condition.

    Police carried out two searches in Ashburton yesterday - one at an address associated with the Mongols gang..

    A 31-year-old affiliate has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and unlawful firearm possession.

    He's appeared in Christchurch District Court and been remanded in custody.

    And a 32-year-old Mongols member has been charged with drug related offences and will appear in Ashburton District Court.

    Police say more arrests are likely.
