    Levin's fire station has some new reinforcements

    Levin's fire station has some new reinforcements


    The Horowhenua town is getting an additional crew made up of one officer and three firefighters.

    Te Upoko Region Manager Bruce Stubbs says he is really pleased to have the career crew on board.

    He says their volunteer brigade is incredibly busy, attending around 450 calls a year ... so the new firefighters will take a little of the load off them.
