    The condition of freshwater sites across the country is being laid bare


    Land, Air, Water Aotearoa is releasing monitoring results from more than 17-hundred river and lake sites...and how water conditions are changing over time.

    An interactive map is already available for rivers, but this is the first time for lakes.

    Lake Science Lead Jane Groom says the maps show patterns - with rivers in urban areas being less healthy.
