    Work is underway to turn around the crash rate at a busy Wanaka intersection


    Waka Kotahi is building a roundabout at the intersection of State Highway's 6 and 84 at Mount Iron.

    Data shows one person was seriously injured, 18 people received minor injuries and 21 crashes resulted in no significant injuries at the intersection between 2011 and 2020.

    Construction is expected to begin in 2023.
