    Three people have been arrested after a rural Ashburton property was raided in connection with drugs and firearms

    Three people have been arrested after a rural Ashburton property was raided in connection with drugs and firearms


    The arrests were the result of a pre-planned operation by members of the Armed Offenders Squad, in relation to a burglarly.

    A .22 rifle and ammunition was recovered when the property was searched

    A man and a woman will appear in Ashburton District Court on November 10 and the other person will appear at a later date.
