There's huge concern for low-income New Zealanders left hundreds of dollars in debt because of a Westpac glitch

MasterCard credit and debit payments made on December 22 and 23 did not go through - and were suddenly withdrawn on Thursday night.
Some customers report their accounts are now hundreds of dollars in overdraft.
Nga Tangata Microfinance says for someone on the benefit, 20-dollars a week can be the difference between whether or not they can get by.
Chief executive Natalie Vincent says there will be people struggling to buy food.
She says they will struggle for some time - because when their benefit or salary goes into that account - it will be automatically absorbed.
Westpac has apologised and says any overdraft fees and interest will be waived.
