    An early opportunity to impress for Black Spoke rider James Oram on the New Zealand Cycle Classic


    The 29 year old's one of the experienced heads named to ride in the five-stage event from Masterton to Wellington.

    Black Spoke's team has doubled ahead of the season, after their receipt of a UCI licence to compete on the second-tier of the world tour.

    Oram says internal competition will intensify.



    Oram's had two stage victories at the event before - he missed out last year due to recovery from concussion.
