The Thames-Coromandel mayor says the community is grieving following three water related incidents this week

The Thames-Coromandel mayor says the community is grieving following three water related incidents this week

The body of a missing man was found on the Coromandel Peninsula on Tuesday evening, while a man died early overnight Thursday near Coroglen.

Meanwhile, rescuers are still searching for a person missing at Opoutere Beach -- where one person died and four were injured -- and a teenage boy was critically injured.

Len Salt says their thoughts are with the family.

He says their primary concern is to offer support to those involved.
