The trial of a tattoo artist accused of indecently touching clients has begun underway in New Plymouth District Court

The trial of a tattoo artist accused of indecently touching clients has begun underway in New Plymouth District Court

NZ Herald's Open Justice reports Peter Roberts faces one charge of sexual violation by unlawful sexual connection, and six of indecent assault.

Roberts pleaded not guilty on all counts.

The Crown's opening address contained allegations Roberts indecently touched a female client, asked about her love life and commented on her body in January 2020.

It's alleged he also made sexual comments to a second woman and indecently touched her, that July. The defence has its opening address this afternoon. The trial is set down for up to five days.
