Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic coach Mary-Jane Araroa is urging her side to stick to the basics as they search for consistency in the ANZ Premiership

Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic coach Mary-Jane Araroa is urging her side to stick to the basics as they search for consistency in the ANZ Premiership

They picked up their first win of the season against the Mystics in round three after defeats to the Pulse and the Stars in the opening rounds.

The Magic visit the Southern Steel in Invercargill tonight.

Araroa says her side's disappointing start to the competition comes down to players doing more than what's required of them.

First centre pass is at 7:15pm.
