There's been another fatal crash on what's been a deadly day on our roads

A motorcyclist has died after crashing into another vehicle at an intersection in Rotorua's Ngongotaha.

Overnight, three people died about 1am, on State Highway 79 near Geraldine, when a campervan hit a road barrier.

Hours later, two people died on the Waikato Expressway - about 4am - after a vehicle travelling the wrong way hit another.

And in Dargaville a person died when their vehicle hit a tree.

Two people have also been seriously injured after a car left the road on Twizel's Mount Cook Road this afternoon.
