    Netball New Zealand chief executive Jennie Wyllie is championing the influence of former coach Taini Jamison on the modern day Silver Ferns


    The legendary mentor has passed away at the age of 97, having led the country to its first World Cup title and spent over 70 years involved with the sport.

    Current Silver Ferns coach Dame Noeline Taurua hails from Jamison's hometown of Rotorua.

    Wyllie says their relationship was unique.
