Council staff in Levin have been facing assault and intimidation

Police are investigating numerous incidents, and the Horowhenua District Mayor and Chief Executive have voiced concern.

They say staff have a right to feel safe at work, and able to walk down the street and get lunch without being intimidated.

They've acknowledged businesses and people in the community who've helped Council staff, facing aggression.
