    Pets no longer need to miss out on church - Nelson Cathedral's inviting animals to an annual animal service


    From 10 this morning, cats, dogs, goats - you name it - will be invited to the annual service.

    It will last an hour with hymns, prayers and readings mainly involving the animal kingdom.

    Dean Graham O'Brien, says the pets are relatively well behaved.

    He says it just seems to come together, the pets don't get to worked up and everyone has a good time.
