The country's property market is improving, slowly - but sales prices are a mixed bag across the country

The Real Estate Institute's latest monthly property report shows an increase in listings month-on-month, in every region.
The median house sale price remains at 795-thousand dollars -- down 2.8-percent from last October.
Wellington has recorded 17 consecutive months of median price decreases, year-on-year
Institute Chief Executive Jen Baird says prices in Wellington are down 4.6 percent year on year - saying it's been a fairly slow market for some time now.
