Emergency crews are resuming their search for two missing peopl,e after a quad bike incident in the Far North

Crews were called to an address on Fern Flat Road in Peria, east of Kaitaia, around 5.15pm yesterday, after the vehicle rolled into a swimming hole on the Wai-kainga Stream.

Police have now brought in the Dive Squad, to assist in the search in the stream.

Support is also being offered to everyone else involved in the crash -- including the four who made it out of the water, and were taken to hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
