A teenager's been arrested after reports of dangerous driving in downtown Auckland

Police received a number of calls shortly before 2:30 this afternoon, before finding the car on Customs Street East.

Police say the alleged offender rammed the front of a police car then took off towards Fort Lane.

They say the driver then stopped the vehicle, which allowed Police to catch him on foot and take him into custody

No one was injured, and a 19-year-old's expected to face driving-related charges.
