Research points to young teens being targeted by vaping advertisers

An Auckland University study shows 14-to-17 year olds are more likely to see vaping ads than 18-to-20 year olds.
Half those surveyed were exposed through social media and influencers.
Marketing professor, Bodo Lang, says how vaping was marketed when first introduced made it particularly attractive to the young.
He says it promoted vaping as a lifestyle choice, as easy to use, and tied to music festivals - possibly encouraging non-smokers.
