Scores of ferry trips have been disrupted in Auckland since the start of the cruise ship season in October

Scores of ferry trips have been disrupted in Auckland since the start of the cruise ship season in October

Auckland Transport says it's working closely with the Ports of Auckland and the Harbourmaster to ensure the least possible disruption.

AT says 141 cancellations have been due to cruise ship arrivals, departures or refuelling which is fewer than 0.7 percent of its scheduled ferry trips

AT Group Manager Public Transport Operations Rachel Cara says they're looking forward to Port of Auckland finding a permanent solution for cruise ships, that takes them out of the Ferry Basin.

A further 92 trips were also delayed due to cruise ships.
