The Chiefs will be without Samisoni Taukei'aho, who's on a rest week, while Anton Lienert-Brown is out as he's in the HIA protocols, as is Highlanders prop Ethan de Groot who won't travel to Hamilton.

The Blues welcome back captain Patrick Tuipulotu for their match against the Crusaders, but have lost Rieko Ioane to concussion protocols.

There's no Cam Roigard for the Hurricanes but skipper Brad Shields plays his first Super Rugby match since 2018 against the Rebels, while Moana Pasifika now have a whopping 12 players sidelined through injury ahead of facing the Brumbies.
