The two New Zealanders detained in Thailand can't be deported until the outcomes of their trials are clear

Brothers Hamish and Oscar Day are accused of assaulting an officer and face multiple charges.
Law Aid International director and barrister Craig Tuck says those who commit an offence in a foreign country, need to go through their court process.
He says talks of deportation can only occur afterwards.
Tuck says otherwise, people would travel and commit offences, and then be deported.
