    Health New Zealand is promising people in Thames hospital services will continue - during a protest today by ED nurses protesting constant understaffing


    The Nurses Organisation says approval hasn't been given for 21 needed extra staff - affecting patient wait and transfer times.

    The nurses are rallying from 11:30am to 1pm.

    Health NZ says it respects union members' right to picket - and the hospital will continue offering services to patients.
