Kelly Brook is "childless by choice"

The 45-year-old TV star - who has been married to Jeremy Parisi since 2022 - has revealed she's enjoying her "beautiful life" without the pressure of trying to start a family after previously suffering a number of devastating miscarriages with previous partners

She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "I'm surrounded by a lot of families with kids and I see it brings people a lot of happiness, but I also see it brings people a lot of stress.

"Jeremy and I love to be around family we really do but we also love to travel and do our own thing. We love our dog. It's not like we are completely selfish, we do have pets."

"I have been through pregnancies and miscarriages and I know how traumatic and devastating they are on you and on your relationship, I have been down that road with previous partners and it is a lot.

"I look at the beautiful life we have and how we don't have the burden of that."

She went on to add: "We haven't tried for children, we haven't gone down the IVF route. We've not even looked into it and I think we are all the more happier for it to be honest.

"I am actually childless by choice at the moment, it's not something that we have considered and I don't think that should be a taboo."

She then explained she feels being open about her decision not to become a mum is a "brave thing to say as a woman" and admitted she's not sure if she ever really wanted to start a family but previously went along with it because it's "expected".

It comes after Kelly admitted she didn't ever want to get married until she met Jeremy and realised he was the one.

She told OK! Magazine: "I never wanted to get married before. But when I met Jeremy, it all changed. We became a family pretty quickly. I could see my life with him. Being married for the past two years has taken over everything.

"I've changed my name and I've got my new name Parisi on my passport. It's so funny - it's more than a day, it's your whole life."
