    Former All Blacks loose forward-turned-boxer Liam Messam will be on the start line for Saturday's Ironman New Zealand event in Taupo


    The 40-year-old is putting himself through the 3.8-kilometre swim, 180-kilometre bike and 42.2-kilometre run for the first time.
