    Police are investigating allegations of an officer assaulting a 15-year-old in Napier


    Police say four young people were in custody after a stolen vehicle was found crashed in the early hours of Sunday.

    One mother claims her son's face was smashed against the ground three times, punched, and had his jaw broken.

    Police says they will be liasing with the family and investigate what happened.

    The Independent Police Conduct Authority has been notified.
