Police are working to find out what led to a man's death in Tokoroa last week - following a man being charged with his murder

A homicide investigation's been launched, after Police found the man in a critical condition outside an Abercorn Place address about 4am last Tuesday.

This followed reports he was injured by a man known to him.

He was rushed to Waikato Hospital, and later died.

A 21-year-old man is due to appear in the High Court in Rotorua later this month.
