    Neighbours of a 31-year-old found dead in Hamilton last night were unaware it had happened - until a helicopter and armed Police showed up


    He was found after Police were called to reports of gunshots on Chartwell's Bellmont Avenue about 6.30pm.

    The hunted the offender, who then allegedly stole a car at gunpoint - and was arrested after a pursuit, stopped by road spikes.

    The Herald's Cherie Howie is there.

    She says no one she talked to - heard shots, and were surprised because they hadn't heard of any issues at the property.
