    Sir Peter Jackson's Weta FX has reported a net loss of more than 60 million dollars in its latest annual report - on the back of a 82 million dollar loss in 2024


    It comes amid a company restructure, where one hundred staff are expected to lose their jobs.

    The Wellington based film company, which has worked on movies like King Kong, The Hobbit and Avatar, did grow its revenue to 478 million dollars for the 2025 year, compared with 430 million last year.
