Silver Ferns midcourter Kate Heffernan has praised the interim coaching staff led by Yvette McCausland-Durie for their efforts during the Taini Jamison Trophy series

The campaign was thrown into turmoil after coach Dame Noeline Taurua was stood down prior to the series, with several players reportedly citing concerns in the team environment.

Ahead of tonight's dead rubber in Invercargill, Heffernan said the staff have taken the pressure off the players.
