Myleene Klass is said to have been left "very distressed" after an obsessive stalker allegedly sent her items with "sexual overtones" including a Catwoman outfit

The former Hear'Say singer and broadcaster, 47, was at the centre of allegations at Birmingham crown court on Monday (29.09.25), when jurors were told Peter Windsor, 61, sent her letters, jewellery, fancy dress outfits and a firearm during a nine-month campaign.

Windsor is also accused of targeting Classic FM presenter Katie Breathwick with letters and parcels. He denies two charges of stalking.

Tim Sapwell, prosecuting, told the court: "The content was obsessional and demonstrated his obsessive interest in them."

He said of Myleene: "She didn't want any publicity about this. She just wanted it to stop."

The lawyer added the star was left "very distressed" by the correspondence and worried about the safety of her family.

Jurors heard the parcels and letters were intercepted at Global Radio's London office.

Among the items sent to Myleene were a silver ring, a heart-shaped pendant, secondhand shoes, and Catwoman and police officer costumes.

In November 2023, police stopped a package containing an air pistol and a note that referred to her as a "naughty vixen" and asked to be "corrected with a whip and a cane".

Katie began receiving letters in March 2020, some addressed jointly to her and Myleene.

One spoke about her eyes and left her feeling "frightened and unsettled".

Others described Windsor's "physical prowess", including how many push-ups he could perform, and suggested paddling with both women in a lake outside Buckingham Palace while drinking champagne.

The court heard Windsor also sent Katie binoculars, spiked running shoes, champagne and a stamp collection for her son.

Security staff began escorting her to and from her car, and she later suffered a panic attack.

Mr Sapwell told the jury: "He even sent her a will-writing kit and you can imagine the effect that had on her."

When arrested in September 2023, police discovered maps of London marking the women's workplace, as well as women's stockings, a glove and binoculars on his wall.

Windsor told officers he had sent the items as a "joke", claiming he had seen Myleene in "provocative underwear" in a newspaper.

He also described the gun as a joke.

The prosecution said Windsor had a long history of mental illness, including a diagnosis of schizophrenia.

Myleene rose to fame in 2001 with pop group Hear'Say, formed through the reality series Popstars, before going on to work in television and radio.

She has two daughters, Ava, 18, and Hero, 13, with her ex-husband Graham Quinn, and a son, born in 2019, with her current partner Simon Motson.

Katie has presented at Classic FM since 2008 and is married to Robert Thorogood, the creator of the BBC series Death in Paradise.
