Lewis Capaldi has offered his dad to supply the fish for Taylor Swift's wedding

The Someone You Loved hitmaker is angling for an invite to the pop mega star's wedding to NFL ace Travis Kelce and explained that his fishmonger father's business could supply the catering for the ceremony

When informed by the host that Mark Ronson - who has offered to DJ at the ceremony - can collaborate with his Foreigner guitarist stepfather Mick Jones - Lewis told The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2: "I can't offer anything like that.

"My dad is a fishmonger. My dad will supply the fish Taylor. My dad will supply the fish for you."

Lewis, 29, is hoping to secure a spot on the guest list at Taylor and Travis' nuptials and thinks he is in with a chance after attending a 30th birthday bash for The Fate of Ophelia songstress in 2019.

The Scottish singer recalled: "It was a soiree. So basically, we were all playing like at these things in America. These Christmas shows in America, yeah.

"Everyone on the lineup was invited. Taylor was headlining that and she invited us all along to her 30th... Well I think... I think it was her 30th birthday party. It had like 30 Taylor hats and stuff."

However, the Forget Me artist revealed that he left the party early to travel to Aberdeen for a performance.

He said: "It was free booze but I had to leave early to fly to Aberdeen. So next time Aberdeen, that's how much I care about ya. I left Taylor Swift's birthday party to be with you."

Lewis stressed that he only wants an "evening invite" to the wedding.

The Survive singer said: "I would love the evening invite. The evening invite for weddings is the best.

"And you don't have to sit through the bit where they get married and stuff."

Capaldi also revealed that he has been back on the dating apps in his own search for love, although not as frequently as he was in the past.

He said: "I'm always in the apps, of course I'm on the apps. I'm always looking. I've always got an eye...

"(I'm) always swiping. To be fair, actually, I'm not actually on the apps as much as I have been in previous years in my life. Like before my last relationship, I'd say I was more heavily on the apps. I just like, I just want to be left alone."
