Kristin Cavallari's children inspired her to "pull back" about taking about her sex life

The 39-year-old star - who has Camden, 13 Jaxon, 11, and Saylor, 10, with ex-husband Jay Cutler - had to "really pause" when her sons told her their friends had heard her and then-boyfriend Mark Estes, 26, discussing intimate details about their bedroom antics.

Speaking to guest Rachel Bilson on her own Let's Be Honest podcast, Kristin said: "I'll definitely pull back, and I feel like I've found this way to kind of say stuff without just saying it.

"So this is actually the one thing that made me be like, 'Whoa, I need to watch what I'm saying.'

"[My sons] told me recently that, like, a year ago or something when I was dating that younger guy, that their friends said they saw [him] and I played a drinking game or something on the podcast, and they saw some of the sexual stuff that we were talking about."

Kristin explained the discussion made her "really pause" and think she should "start being careful" about what she shares in public.

She said: "Because it's really, I don't care at the end of the day what Jax and Camden think about me. It's my kids.

"But I can't be saying stuff that's gonna affect them and their friends."

The former Hills star found the moment a "real eye-opener", and she also reflected on her romance with TikTok star Mark.

She said: "It was fun until it wasn't."

The pair dated for several months in 2024, and Kristin previously explained they split simply because she knew they weren't "right" long-term.

She said on her podcast: "I broke up with Mark because I just know long term it's not right. It's not because of love lost or something bad happened, no one cheated, no one was mean. No one did anything. Those breakups are always the hardest, I think."

The Uncommon James founder recently dec lared she would "never date an actor", despite having a crush on It Ends with Us star Brandon Sklenar.

She said on the Let's Be Honest podcast: "Brandon Sklenar for me is, like, he's so hot. And he's that type of guy that I want, but I think he's in a relationship, and he's an actor, and I would never date an actor. And I mean, I'd, you know, if I had my chance, it would've been at Stagecoach."

Asked why she's not interested in dating an actor, Kristin replied: "Their schedules are awful. He's gonna be on set. Logistics wise, the scheduling would be a nightmare, and he wouldn't be able to travel to me all the time."

The reality TV star also feels that actors can be "very insecure".

She explained: "Typically, actors are very insecure, and I think that's why they become actors because they're seeking outside validation. And I think a lot of them can be like, just really cheesy and just a bunch of nerds."
