Drew Barrymore feels "grossed out" by the idea of dating a man in his 20s

The 50-year-old movie star admits that she's had a "bad run" in her love life - but Drew insists she doesn't have any interest in dating a much younger man.

During a segment with Ross Mathews and Sunny Anderson on The Drew Barrymore Show, Ross said: "Can everybody remember that dating is supposed to be fun? You know, like, go out and just have fun."

Drew - who was married to Will Kopelman between 2012 and 2016 - then quipped: "Can you tell the men I go on dates with that? Because they have lost the memo.

"I love to, like, date from Psychos.com. I'm not kidding. I've had a bad run."

Sunny then asked the TV star whether she'd "tried [dating], like, the 20-somethings?"

And Drew replied: "You know what? ... No - I'm totally grossed out by that. No, I have children and it seems wrong now."

Meanwhile, Drew previously revealed that she planned to become "kinder" to herself.

The actress celebrated her 50th birthday in 2025, and Drew insisted she was perfectly happy with where she was at in her life, explaining that she had no intention of undergoing cosmetic surgery.

In a behind-the-scenes moment on The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress was asked to reveal her secret to "ageing gracefully" and Drew replied: "I haven't done anything and I want to try and stay that way ... but I also am like, do whatever works for you. The only thing I do know is don't judge other people because they do things differently.

"We're all on our own path and we have to support each other. I see a lot of turkey neck or I have a lot of other time where I'm like 'Oh Wow, we're there now.'"

Drew subsequently offered some thoughtful life advice to her fans.

She said: "I want to tell myself not to be so mean to myself. How many beautiful moments do we even get the privilege of seeing our reflection and that person looking back at us is us?

"So the kinder, more patient, more resilient, more loving, embracing, less dismissive that we can be, the better it is for our mental game and spiritual game, which affects the face."
