    The cancellation of America's Cup world series events could play into the hands of the Auld Mug defenders


    Next month's regatta in Italy and one in Portsmouth in June have been cancelled due to covid-19.

    That leaves just one more competition in Auckland in December, ahead of next year's America's Cup.

    Former Team New Zealand tactician Brad Butterworth says that could be favourable for the hosts.
