The New Zealand Sail GP team face the prospect of being stranded in Australia after the seventh round of the Championship a week before Christmas

Skipper Peter Burling has reiterated the team's commitment to racing on Sydney Harbour on the 17th and 18th of December, but says they don't have MIQ spots booked for afterwards.

The New Zealanders return home for two weeks MIQ after this weekend's sixth round of the series in Cadiz in Spain.

And Burling says at this stage they will have to quarantine in Australia before the regatta too.
