The newly-minted Auckland Central candidate for the National Party says she'll be working hard to meet as many voters as possible

The newly-minted Auckland Central candidate for the National Party says she'll be working hard to meet as many voters as possible

Emma Mellow was selected last night ... with the election less than six weeks away.

The senior communication manager at ANZ says she was inspired by outgoing Auckland Central seat holder Nikki Kaye to join the party.

Mellow's revealed one issue she'd like to target if elected as an MP.

She says she's passionate about preventing our horrendous rates of domestic violence - and thinks there's more we can do to help women leave violent relationships.
