    A boost for Christchurch's tourism, with China Southern Airlines make a grand return to the garden-city


    Asia's largest carrier will resume its direct service between Christchurch and Guangzhou from late October.

    Between mid-December and mid-February, the airline will fly seven days a week -- catering for Chinese New Year demand.

    That's a 75-percent increase in seat capacity than the year prior.more seats than during the same period last year.

    Christchurch Airport spokesperson, Gordon Bevan says it creates far more opportunities for global travellers wanting to explore Aotearoa.
