Police have arrested a man after he allegedly committed an indecent act in view of a Palmerston North medical centre

Their reports suggest it was not the only incident and there may be other victims.

They are also appealing for information after an incident where a man driving a green van was allegedly chasing another vehicle, while waving a firearm out the window.

It occurred on Featherston Street at around 2pm.

The 32-year-old man is due to appear in the Palmerston North District Court on multiple charges.
