    A man who has spent 25 years in prison convicted of murdering West Auckland tyre-fitter Dean Fuller-Sandys has been granted bail - ahead of his retrial


    RNZ reports the Crown didn't oppose a bail application.

    Stephen Stone was imprisoned in 1999 for Fuller-Sandys' murder - alongside the rape and murder of Leah Stephens.

    The Court of Appeal this month.quashed the convictions of Stone and three others.
