    The Breakers have taken top spot in basketball's NBL with an impressive 109-82 home win over the Adelaide 36ers in Auckland


    Point-guard Parker Jackson Cartwright led the way with 25 points - as one of five players to register double figures in a strong team display.

    Next Star Karim Lopez and Matt Mooney added 17 apiece - while Sam Menenga had 14 and Freddie Gillespie added 13 off the bench.

    The result moves the New Zealand franchise to five wins and two losses for the season.
