    A person's died after a crash in Darfield in the Selwyn District, west of Christchurch


    Two people were left critically hurt after the collision between two vehicles on Old West Coast Road near Pitt Road at around 11 this morning.

    Police have confirmed one person injured from the crash has subsequently died.
