    A lucky New Plymouth lotto player has won 8.3 million dollars in tonight's draw

    A lucky New Plymouth lotto player has won 8.3 million dollars in tonight's draw


    They won 8 million from Powerball First division and a third of a million dollars from Lotto First Division.

    The ticket was purchased using the My Lotto app.

    Two other players, one from Auckland and one from Rotorua, struck first division and will take home around 330 thousand dollars each.

    The Rotorua player won through the app - while the Auckland player bought their ticket from Pak N Save Wairau Road.
