Double Olympic champion Ellesse Andrews has forced another re-write of the records en route to a national track cycling title in Invercargill

Her qualifying time of 10.498 seconds is the fastest registered across the 200-metre sprint distance by a woman in New Zealand

The world record of 10.029 seconds was set by Germany's Lea Friedrich in qualifying at the Paris Games - she finished runner-up to Andrews in the gold medal race.

Sam Dakin took the men's national title.
