The White Ferns have claimed a 2-nil series win over Sri Lanka, after winning the third and final one-dayer in Nelson by 98 runs

The White Ferns have claimed a 2-nil series win over Sri Lanka, after winning the third and final one-dayer in Nelson by 98 runs

Georgia Plimmer made her first international century to lift the home side to 280 for six batting first.

In reply, Sri Lanka lost early wickets and despite some handy middle-order partnerships were always behind the eight-ball given the start.

They were bowled out on the final ball of their innings for 182.

The T20 series starts on Friday in Christchurch.
