Police are still seeking information from the public after two people were found dead in a suspected murder-suicide in Wellington's Roseneath

Officers carried out a welfare check on the occupants of the Palliser Road home on Monday night, where the British couple were found.

Police are hoping for any CCTV footage of the area - particularly on Palliser Road and surrounding streets.

Meanwhile, a scene guard remains in place in the Wellington suburb of Northland after an unexplained death on Tuesday.

Police say they'll have a presence in the area while enquiries are made.
