    Warnings for South Islanders on the West Coast and Otago - over incoming heavy rain


    MetService has updated orange warnings for Fiordland north of Doubtful Sound and the Westland ranges - with up to 220 millimetres of rain expected between midnight tonight and 4am Friday.

    A warning's also in force for the headwaters of the Otago Lakes and Rivers for tomorrow afternoon through till early Friday, where up to 130 millimetres could fall.
