Three people have been arrested in Christchurch, tracked by police using a commercial helicopter

A police spokesperson's confirmed the helicopter was deployed about 1pm yesterday - as they looked for a group of offenders who'd taken two vehicles from a private property near Memorial Avenue.

The vehicles were allegedly being driven dangerously through several suburbs.

Three people are due in court, facing burglary charges.
