    A person is seriously injured, after being struck by a car on Christchurch's Fitzgerald Avenue last night


    Police were called to the northbound lane, between Kilmore Street and Bealey Avenue, before 6pm.

    One person was taken to hospital seriously injured.

    The Serious Crash Unit's investigating.
