    Dunedin will be getting a private hospital, before the city's new public one opens


    The ODT reports the three-storey hospital specialising in general and elective surgery, will open on Anzac Ave by mid-2028.

    The 1.8-billion-dollar new public hospital inpatients building will open in 2031.

    The private hospital Director Colin Hutchison says the new facility will treat more than 10-thousand patients a year.
