A fleeing motorcyclist has been arrested after weaving through oncoming traffic during Auckland's rush hour

The motorbike was allegedly stolen from Tiki Street in New Lynn, just before 7.30 this morning.

The Eagle helicopter tracked the rider driving at dangerous speeds, and at times crossing over on to the wrong side of the road.

The rider fell off a short time later and was taken into police custody.
